Support: Microchip Cat Flap (CP 360/360)
I want to keep one cat in and allow free access to another cat.
The Microchip Cat Flap (CP 360 or 360) is selective entry only. We would advise the Cat Mate Elite ID Disc Cat Flap with Timer Control (305); however, this works with ID discs on your cat’s collar, but not implanted microchips.
I have changed the batteries but now nothing works.
Please remove all batteries for at least three hours and replace with new, good-quality alkaline batteries.
I have replaced the batteries. Do I need to reprogram my cat’s ID disc?
No, the microchip information is retained by the cat flap.
How do I put it in training mode?
Remove one battery for a minimum of 2 minutes. Re-insert. Wait until lock drops (approx. 5 seconds), then immediately remove one or all batteries. This will prevent the lock from rising.
Does it work with a Cat Mate ID Disc?
Yes. This model is fully compatible with the Cat Mate ID Discs.
My cat is not microchipped. How can I use this product?
This model is fully compatible with the Cat Mate ID Disc found on our website.
How do I know when the batteries need changing?
The red LED will flash once every 30 seconds.
How long do the batteries last?
Good-quality alkaline batteries should last for 9-12 months for one cat.
How many cats can I program to the cat flap?
This product will accept up to 30 cats.
The catch is stuck down and any cat can get in. What can I do?
Remove the batteries for at least one hour. After one hour install new, good-quality alkaline batteries. The red LED should flash and the catch should come up.
Can this be installed in glass?
Yes, you require the Cat Flap Adapter Kit for Walls and Glass Panels (Part No. 361).
Can this be installed in a wall?
Yes, you require the Cat Flap Adapter Kit for Walls and Glass Panels (Part No. 361) and Elite Wall Liner (Part No. 308W).
Can this be installed into a door that has metal panels?
Doors constructed with metal panels may reduce the range of the microchip reader. For UPVC/metal panels thicker than 35mm (13 /8”) use a Cat Mate UPVC/Metal Door Adapter Kit, Part No. 387.
What is the size of the opening the cat goes through?
Approximately 145mm X 145mm (5 6/8″ x 5 6/8″).
Can I get a replacement flap?
Yes, available on our website (Part No. 940).
